Gates: Gates must be unlocked and free of obstructions on your scheduled service day.Dogs: For safety reasons, all pets must remain indoors during service. We will not enter a yard with a loose dog.

Liability Waivers

Pet Health: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Capital City Scoopers is not liable for any illness, injury, or medical condition affecting pets on the property, including but not limited to viruses, parasites, or infections.Escapes: We will make reasonable efforts to ensure gates are closed upon departure. Capital City Scoopers is not responsible for pets that escape through gates that are damaged, improperly installed, ill-fitting, or have faulty latches.Property: While we take reasonable care while performing services, Capital City Scoopers is not responsible for damage to items left in the yard, including but not limited to toys, hoses, decorations, sprinkler heads, or landscaping fixtures. We are also not responsible for pre-existing lawn damage or discoloration caused by pet waste.

Service Limitations

Waste removal services may be affected by snow cover, excessive leaves, tall grass, or other yard conditions. In these situations, Capital City Scoopers cannot guarantee complete removal of all pet waste.

Waste Disposal

All waste will be bagged and placed in the client’s on-site residential garbage bin.

Right to Refuse or Terminate Service

Refusal of Service: Capital City Scoopers reserves the right to refuse or terminate service at any time for safety concerns, aggressive pets, hazardous yard conditions, or any other reasonable circumstance.Cancellations: We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Failure to provide notice prior to arrival may result in the full charge for the scheduled visit.

Weather

In cases of extreme weather (including lightning storms or temperatures below −25°C), services may be rescheduled or skipped to ensure safety.

Assumption of Risk

By using Capital City Scoopers’ services, the client acknowledges that pet waste removal involves inherent risks, including exposure to bacteria, parasites, and varying yard conditions. The client accepts these risks and agrees that Capital City Scoopers will not be held liable for issues arising from normal service activities.

By scheduling or using Capital City Scoopers’ services, the client acknowledges that they have read and agree to these terms and conditions.
